Our Introduction to Yoga Course in the foothills of the Himalayas offers practitioners an opportunity to journey within themselves. Therefore, establishing peace of body and mind. Students will learn the basic aspects of the yogic lifestyle, through practice and theory lead classes and workshops. Participants of the course will establish a foundation of yogic techniques which they can implement in their daily lives after completing the course. The objective of the retreat is to create a space where one can rejuvenate, detox and re-calibrate to the natural state of being. The course gives a well-rounded introduction covering topics such as Indian Philosophy, Ancient Scriptures, Yoga Asana, Pranayama Breath-work, Meditation, Ayurveda, Satsang and Mantra Chanting. The course is situated in peaceful, tranquil environment in the Himalayas where participants will also get to enjoy a guided nature tour & sightseeing of Darjeeling.
