YogDaan Yoga is situated in the beautiful Himalayas overlooking the holy peaks of Kanchenjunga, the third highest mountain in the world.  Darjeeling is situated upon a hill surrounded by innumerable tea plantations. When participating in our Yoga Teacher Training Course or an intensive yoga program in Himalayas, a peaceful environment and a comfortable stay are a necessity for an undisturbed spiritual practice and experience.  Our school is situated in the upper, more quiet part of Darjeeling, away from the hustle & bustle of the city. Surrounded by numerous monasteries and temples, the spiritual energy is ever present in the local daily life.

ACCOMMODATION

At YogDaan we provide comfortable and full accommodation with all facilities & amenities. Students have the choice between Private Single or Double Deluxe Rooms with ensuite bathroom. We provide basic amenities like 24 hour hot water, complimentary wifi, basic toiletries, common kitchenette and filtered drinking water.  All rooms have a comfortable 8-inch mattress, tv, and electric blanket. There is also a common lounge area with a mountain view for dining, which also doubles as a common room.

YogDaan YOGA SHALA

At YogDaan, our yoga shala is immersed in nature, overlooking the majestic Himalayas and the sacred Kanchenjunga peaks, the third highest mountain in the world.  Students can also enjoy the breathtaking and panoramic view of the entire Singalila Range that runs from Northwestern West Bengal through Sikkim and district of Illam in Nepal.   Our YogDaan Yoga shala is a natural sanctuary and healing space in Himalayas where we offer yoga teacher training courses, wellness programs, workshops and retreats to nourish, rejuvenate and awaken your mind, body, and spirit.  Our YogDaan Yoga programs & courses gives an opportunity to step away from the usual, busy hectic lifestyle and return to our true essence, simpler way of living. During the course, students follow a set schedule where they wake up early to practice breathing, meditation, kriya techniques, mantra chanting & satsang, followed by asanas, eating simple ayurvedic food, learning about yoga philosophy and other traditional scriptures and techniques.  This daily practice promotes a healthy lifestyle and a place to deepen your spiritual practice and awaken to your true authentic selves. 

FOOD & NUTRITION

Throughout our various YogDaan Yoga Programs, Courses and Retreats we provide delicious, vegetarian, Ayurvedic meals to ensure our students are nourished during the course. We follow the Yogic, Sattvic vegetarian diet to complement our Yoga Programs and provide 3 meals daily (Morning light breakfast snack, Brunch, Dinner). Yogic, Sattvic food promotes good health, proper metabolism of the food in order for natural self-healing.
